September 2011 - An announcement from Fr Armand de Malleray of the Priestly Fraternity of St Peter (FSSP)
"As you may have heard, Bishop Peter has kindly established our Fraternity as a ‘Gregorian Chaplaincy’ in the Northampton diocese, to care for those attached to the Extraordinary Form of the Roman rite. This came into effect as of 19th July 2011, when Bishop Doyle signed the contract. We remain based in Sacred Heart Church, Flitwick, with so far one weekly regular event, i.e. a 5pm Mass every Sunday, with confessions from 4.30pm and refreshments after Mass.
On 8th August 2011 Bishop Doyle has agreed to appoint me as Chaplain, following a presentation by my Superior General Very Rev Fr John Berg, FSSP.
