Part of the work of discernment is played by the Diocesan Vocations Team. This is a group of priests who have been given a special responsibility in this area by the Bishop. Of course, many other priests and lay people are also involved in the work. However, the first point of contact, after one’s own parish priest, is one of the members of this team.
