Supporting seminarians and promoting vocations

 

– enabling parishes to fund the studies of current seminarians - minimum required is £1 million

Together In Faith funds are currently supporting 7 students from Northampton Diocese through their training at Oscott College.

Michael Bates, now in his 6th year, was ordained Deacon on 25th June and is currently on extended placement at St Augustine's, High Wycombe: David Donaghue and Kevin Ryan are in their fourth year, Daniel Rooke his third year. Tanner Carlile, Liam Castle and Andrew Compton are in their second year of formation. Jithu James is in his first year, and Andrew Coy in Year 2 at the Venerable English College, Rome. 

Michael Rakowski, a student from the Polish church in Slough, is in his fifth year in Rome.

Four men are currently in formation for the Permanent Diaconate, with two ordained last summer. More news here...

Together in Faith will resource an expanded effort to support vocations to the priesthood and permanent diaconate, as well as the more traditional gatherings and events for those thinking about the priesthood or the diaconate.
