Bishop David has announced the following clergy moves:

Fr Pius Amoako is appointed Parish Priest of Our Lady Immaculate and St Ethelbert, Slough.

Fr Benedetto D’Autilia is appointed Parish Priest of St Paul’s, Thrapston, Most Holy Name of Jesus, Oundle and St Thomas More, Raunds.

Fr Jonathan Hill is appointed Parish Priest of St John Henry Newman, High Wycombe, with the two churches of St Wulstan and Our Lady of Grace.

Fr Brendan Seery is appointed Parish Priest of Our Lady Help of Christians, Luton.

Fr James Evans is appointed Parish Priest of St Thomas More, Towcester (remaining within the Cathedral Hub). Fr James is also appointed Diocesan Ecumenical Officer and Pastoral Visitor of the Sick and Retired Clergy.

Fr Andrew Coy is appointed Bishop’s Private Secretary and will continue to assist the Cathedral Dean in the pastoral care of the Cathedral Hub of Parishes.

Fr Liam Castle is appointed Assistant Priest to Fr Simon Penhalagan at St Martin de Porres, Luton, and Chaplain to the Luton and Dunstable General Hospital.

Fr John Conroy MHM is appointed Assistant Priest to Canon Seamus Keenan at The Holy Child and St Joseph, Bedford.

Fr Shyju Chacko is temporarily Pastoral Administrator of The Sacred Heart and Our Lady, Aston-le-Walls and the Catholic congregation at Saints Peter and Paul, Kings Sutton, before receiving a more permanent appointment.

We welcome Fr Kamil Stawiski to the Diocese. A priest of the Diocese of Płock, Fr Kamil is temporarily serving in the Cathedral, before receiving a more permanent appointment.

Some of these moves have already taken place, and some will be taking place over the next few weeks.

Deacon Jithu James ordination will take place at 11am on Monday, 27th June 2022 at the Cathedral.

We pray for the repose of the soul of Fr Pat Bailey, whose funeral took place at Our Lady of Peace, Burnham, during Holy Week.
