Mission Northampton, the department supporting evangelisation and outreach, has been working with the parishes in Thrapston, Oundle & Raunds to put on a mission for the area. This includes reaching out to new housing estates which Bishop David was asked to prioritise by the Papal Nuncio when he first became Bishop. Over the last few months we have been meeting with parishioners and discerning how we can use our gifts to reach out to those in the parish, but also those who are lapsed or who have never been to Church. Throughout October people will be visiting houses and letting local people know about all the events planned. The events are open to everyone, from anywhere. You are welcome to come whether you are a person of faith or not! Refreshments will be served at all the events. Art Exhibition One of the main events is a Christian art exhibition, with contributions from artists across the Diocese: Weds 25th & 26th October at Saxon Hall, Raunds. Please come along and support it if you can. It promises to be very inspiring. Children’s Events There are some events aimed primarily at children that coincide with half term, including a puppet show and a family day. Check out the posters for more details.
