David McLoughlin is the Emeritus Fellow of Christian Theology at Newman University, Birmingham. He has helped to train Christian activists, priests, deacons, ministers and teachers for 40 years. He is a founder member of the Movement of Christian Workers which aims to inspire working people to transform the world by transforming their world of work. He has been the President of the Catholic Theological Association of GB and Vice President of the European Association of Catholic Theology. He provides theological support for a number charities, religious orders and movements. His most recent research has been with Dr John Vincent at the Urban Theology Unit, Sheffield, on radical readings of the bible.  His favourite religious saying is: “The glory of God is a fully alive human being.” (St. Irenaeus 130-200 CE)
