Members of the Knights of St Columba gathered at Northampton Cathedral on Saturday 15 November 2025 for their Annual Mass for Deceased Brothers and their families, a deeply prayerful occasion marked by remembrance, gratitude and celebration.

The Mass was celebrated by Canon Christopher Perry, Provincial Chaplain of the Knights of St Columba, and Canon Brendan Killeen, Chaplain to the Northampton Council. Together with Knights, families and friends, they commended the souls of departed Brothers to God and gave thanks for their enduring witness of faith and service.

A particular highlight of the celebration was the presentation of a Diamond Jubilee Certificate to Brother Mike Smith, recognising 60 years of faithful membership of the Knights of St Columba. Brother Mike’s remarkable commitment stands as a powerful example of dedication to the Church, the Order and the wider community.

The Cathedral setting provided a fitting backdrop for a Mass that combined solemn remembrance with joyful thanksgiving, reflecting the fraternal spirit at the heart of the Knights of St Columba.
