In time for the Feast of the Sacred Heart, the latest episode of the All Kinds of Catholic podcast features Fr Giacomo Gelardi, one of the priests serving at St Joseph’s in Luton and a member of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart.
Host Theresa Alessandro welcomes Fr Giacomo for a warm and insightful conversation that explores his vocation, his missionary calling, and the deep spiritual meaning of the Sacred Heart devotion today.
“We’re close to the Feast of the Sacred Heart now,” Theresa says in the introduction, “and so I’m really delighted to welcome, as a guest today, somebody who is a member of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart.”
Each episode of All Kinds of Catholic offers a glimpse into the lived faith of Catholics from all walks of life. Rooted in the words of Pope Francis — who speaks of the Church as a caravan of companions on a sometimes chaotic journey — and inspired by St Augustine’s call to “live well and the times will be good,” this podcast encourages, affirms, and occasionally challenges us in our Catholic life today.
