As the Church prepares to celebrate the Jubilee Year 2025, the Diocese of Northampton is pleased to provide each parish with 20 copies of We Dare to Hope, a national Lenten resource designed for adult faith formation. This inspiring book invites Catholics to deepen their faith during Lent by reflecting on the theme of hope, a central message of the upcoming Jubilee Year proclaimed by Pope Francis.
We Dare to Hope offers scripture-based reflections, personal testimonies, and practical ways to live out hope in daily life. It serves as a valuable guide for small groups, parish discussions, and individual meditation, helping the faithful to journey through Lent with a renewed sense of God’s presence and mercy.
Bishop David Oakley encourages all parishioners to engage with this resource:
“As we approach Lent in this Jubilee Year 2025, a time of spiritual growth and grace, We Dare to Hope is a timely invitation to trust in God’s promises. I encourage all our communities to use this resource to grow in faith and prepare our hearts for the graces of the season.”
Parishes are encouraged to distribute the books among their adult faith formation programs, Lenten study groups, or as a tool for personal reflection. Additional copies may be available for those who wish to explore the book more deeply.
