Catholic Mission

RE:NEW events help us naviage life’s challenges with a faith perspective, giving us the chance to pray and experience Christianity in a new way. At RE:NEW we meet over coffee and pastries, get to know God and one another better as we consider the big questions of life. We have special activities for children and the whole family is welcome.

We look forward to seeing you – a warm welcome (and a pastry!) awaits.

Come to me all who are weary and overburdened and I will give you rest

– Jesus

This Months Speaker

Our next RE:NEW Northampton morning will be on Saturday 13th July at the usual time of 10am to 12pm at the St Thomas Cathedral Centre, Northampton. You will be very welcome! Our speaker will be the wonderful Gaetana Trimming.

Gaetana is a Catholic Christian and the moderator of the leadership team of The House of the Open Door, a lay ecumenical community in Worcestershire. She works and ministers from there, in worship and sharing the Gospel in schools, prisons and conferences. Even though she was born in a Catholic family and went to a convent school, she had her first real encounter with the Lord at the age of 17, being healed from drug addiction and mental breakdown. She has a passion for sharing the gospel especially with women and young people and is a trained spiritual director. Gaetana is Italian and was born on the Amalfi Coast, she is married with one son. She loves learning about other cultures, and their languages. In her spare time she likes reading cookery books and spending time with her friends.

Gaetana will be sharing on the theme “Lord Show us the Father” John 14:8-18
