Praise and worship recording artist Sarah Kroger bought her acclaimed ‘The Light Has Come Tour‘ to our diocese last week. The worship leader was joined by her husband the international preacher, Dom Quaglia and her band as they led us beautifully in prayer through song and into a powerful time of Adoration.
St Augustines in Milton Keynes, St Teresa’s in Beaconsfield and St John’s in Luton played host as many people gathered to celebrate with joy and dancing the Light in our world, Jesus.
The evenings began with an introduction by the host priest, Fr Brendan Seery, Mgr Sean Healy and Fr Andy Richardson and this was followed by a concert by Sarah of songs from her album ‘Light’ It was then Dom’s turn to lead us with thought provoking words of insight and challenge before some time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament and benediction. Sarah then concluded with more upbeat songs which left no-one sat down!
One parent attended an evening in Luton and said:
Sarah’s music connected with us in ways that were very uplifting and surprising- and my daughter and I have been singing along with the CDs in the car. I also found Dom’s talks to be very helpful. We all face things in our life that are just too much for us to handle and Dom reminded me that there are times that all we can do is fully place our faith in God and trust that we will get through.
Sarah plans another UK tour in 2023…watch this space!
