Traditional Prayers

Please see many resources below which allow you to explore the traditional prayers of the Catholic Church:

1. The Rosary

If you haven’t prayed the rosary since you were a child and would like to take it up again, or if you would like to make praying the Rosary part of your routine, the Rosary Center & Confraternity website breaks the Rosary down into steps and shares other helpful resources.

2. Novenas

Novena at Home, a website created by the Redemptorists, provides you with many resources focusing on Our Lady of Perpetual Succour and a suggested outline of prayers and readings from the Redemptorists.

CAFOD have written a Novena to St Francis: in this time of worldwide trouble, asking St Francis to pray for the most vulnerable among us. Use their video prayers over nine days, download a text version, or a PDF colour booklet. Click to view!

3. Adoration

Adoration is a traditional prayer within the Catholic Church and is now readily available with the click of a button. Set some time aside out of your day to spend with the Lord. Click here to choose from a range of live-stream Adoration from chapels around the world!

4. Liturgy Office – England & Wales

The Liturgy Office website contains all traditional prayers found in the Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, including the Lord’s Prayer and the Magnificat, along with other traditional prayers.
